This time, when I saw the threads that I used while visualizing CCTV’s eyes, I thought of puppets like Pinocchio, so CCTV made an image of manipulating people like puppets, and I became interested in a thread, so I researched artists related to the thread. And I visited Tate Modern and looked up the works of artists who might be related to my topic. At Tate Modern, I didn’t find any interesting works related to CCTV or video, but I found some interesting works using thread. When I got home, I thought about how I could connect thread-related works with the view of CCTV that I thought. I didn’t see this kind of artist research and saw it, but I also found works by artists using CCTV, screens, and videos to find interesting silhouettes or details. What I felt while doing this assignment is that I chose CCTV as the theme, and I couldn’t find quality research because I wasted time looking for CCTV which is to the street and the artist didn’t think about the work or anything else. To improve my problem, I thought that I should listen to other people’s opinions carefully and accept them by asking for advice from people around me instead of just using my thoughts.
